Hawaii REBI Chapter Strategic Plan
Adopted: March 2, 2017
Vision
The Hawaii REBI Chapter provides designees and non-members a local organization to be associated
with. This organization provides accredited courses locally to SRS Designees and those who earned
or are earning the CRETS and RENE credentials.
These courses serves as a pathway to achieving the highest designation of education achievement,
the Certified Real Estate Broker Manager, CRB. CRB, SRS designees shall also have the opportunity
to audit these accredited course.
The Hawaii REBI Chapter also offers alternative educational opportunities that are current and
relevant to promote successful Real Estate Brokerage Management practices. Networking opportunities
are offered and valued by our members. Our members shall engage in charitable work that supports
the community at large.

The Hawaii REBI Chapter endeavors to equip our members to be highly successful managers of their
Real Estate business.
Goals and Action Plan
I. EDUCATION:
Objective: To provide one to two CRB approved classes per year as well as seminars that feature
topics supporting the Chapters’ commitment to advance education for real estate professionals.
A. ACTION: The Executive Board, Education & Program Committees will be responsible for
evaluating the educational interest and needs of the membership and arrange REBI courses utilizing
industry leaders.
B. ACTION: The Executive Board, Education & Program Committees shall evaluate and develop
opportunities to enhance our members’ experience with events such as Exchanges/Workshops and REBI
webinars.
C. ACTION: Collaborate with existing organizations on neighbor islands to publicize benefits
and promote the Chapter through educational meetings or events.
II. COMMUNICATIONS:
Objective: Conduct an effective public relations campaign to promote the value SRS designations to
those within the industry and the general SRS designations to those within the industry and the general public.
The campaign shall also market programs and benefits to our members and real estate
professionals.
A. ACTION: The Communications Committee shall submit press releases to local publications to
promote activities of the Chapter, CRB and SRS Designees and the CRB designation.
B. ACTION: The Chapter shall distribute informational and promotional materials at various
real estate meetings (i.e. Local Boards and HAR Membership meetings, Regional Meetings, and
Tradeshows). Materials shall highlight benefits of being a CRB Designee as well as inform the
public on the value of utilizing the expertise of a CRB Designee.
C. ACTION: The Communications Committee shall be responsible for assigning a Chapter member
to make announcements regarding Chapter events and opportunities at meetings described above.
D. ACTION: The Communications Committee shall provide links and post upcoming and past events on
the REBI Chapter website and Facebook page.
III. MEMBER BENEFITS & VALUE:
Objective #1: Create an effective membership drive in order to increase membership and retain
existing members.
A. ACTION: The Membership Committee shall formulate and effect a public relations program to
market Chapter programs and benefits to Real Estate Managers as well as non-member Real Estate
Professionals.
Objective #2: Understand what members want from their affiliation with the Hawaii REBI Chapter.
A. ACTION: Conduct an annual member survey to assess member needs and interests as well as
satisfaction with Chapter programs and benefits.
B. ACTION: Executive Board members as well as Committee members to actively engage with
Chapter members to determine what is relevant and important to members on an on-going basis.
